IMBI is designed to be a practical tool for churches, associations, and conventions to recruit and train strong numbers of Christian workers to disciple and evangelize the unreached people of their community and open mission works in communities needing Baptist work.
Given the bad doctrinal influence of non-evangelical sectarian and secular groups in Guatemala, and all of Latin America we have experienced the need to train and equip leaders through correct biblical and theological education.

These courses are designed to teach and put into practice evangelism and discipleship at its very core. It is expected that each student begins to teach the Bible weekly to unreached people in the community while earning certificates. Only students who are teaching while attending may receive the second certificate of Missionary Preparation.
For over 7 years Church on the March has provided full scholarships for more than 20 students in IMBI. Students attend the central campus as well as different extensions within the country.
